Item Description
The North States Supergate is made of plastic and is mounted with hardware for easy installation. It has been designed to prevent children from venturing into places which they shouldnt ideally enter. It could work well for pets too. This plastic baby gate can collapse into a compact size when not being used. When you need to set it up, you can install the gate to the walls of the entrance using screws. The gate can be opened and closed by sliding it inwards and outwards. Although made of plastic, this expandable baby gate is sturdy enough to serve its purpose. The latch is not easy to open and will ensure that your baby or small child stays protected within the safe zones of your house. This is a portable baby gate that can easily be taken along with you when you move houses.

Not as expected Durable and somewhat easy to install but definately not a gate to open with one hand. You need to lift and push at the same time to close it. Alittle heavier than I expected but bought it because it was the only gate I could find over 3 feet. Over all it's working for us, but wish I could have found something easier. 05/22/2008
Great Gate for Upstairs Loft Room I purchased this gate to use at the opening of our upstairs open loft (which we use as our kid's playroom). This gate is great! I was able to install it myself (and I'm not the best handy-woman). Just take your time when you do the measurements before you drill. The gate takes some practice to get familiar with opening and closing it but once you "get it", it's easy to operate. I would recommend this gate to anyone who needs to close off a big opening. I rated the durability a "4" only because it is a plastic gate instead of metal. I have had this gate for 5 months and use it daily and it is still working great! Note: I still have a top of the stairs gate in addition to this gate. I use this gate to only close off the playroom area from the other rooms upstairs. 05/19/2008
An absolute must for the dog I ordered this extra wide gate to keep our 8 mo. old lab in the kitchen during the day when we are at work and at night. Was quite surprised by the durability of it. It would work better if it had something in the middle to help stabilize it. I have it extended to the fullest. The one hand open/close ease is great. My kids are grown and think I've lost my mind to buy a baby gate, but it works great. 05/13/2008
Great gate I got this gate to keep puppies in the kitchen. This was the only one that I found that would fit the five foot space and the pups could not escape through the openings. Made a few minor adjustments to make it harder for them to climb, but they soon learned they could jump over it. 05/05/2008
