You get what you pay for I needed many gates so I went with these. They were cheaper than any other gate I found that opened up like a door. They are very strong and not hard to put up. The problem is trying to unlock them. Not to easy to do. At least you will know your child cant open it if you cant. 03/03/2008
easy to set up. our old one (different gate) broke and bought this one to replace it. it's a little more wiggly/flimsy but does the job. it was also $20.00 cheaper than the old one which is why we decided to try this one. 03/01/2008
For those on a budget Most gates are very expensive, so that is why I bought this one. So far its pretty good, but it takes me like 3-4 times to get it aligned right to close everytime. Yes it is a pain but I was on a small budget so it works. I would say if you have a little extra to spend go for a little better model. 02/06/2008
