I wanted something inexpensive that I could install at my deck steps to keep my dog from going down the steps. I had to be creative to install it in a non-traditional "wall" or "doorway" situation, but it works. Would recommend if you're looking to spend minimal money. 06/04/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 Great gate for the price! I ordered this gate because I needed a sturdy gate to keep my 9 month old from crawling in the kitchen. I didnt want to spent too much, but I needed it to cover a 7 ft opening so I went with this one. It arrived fast and only took my husband about 5 mins to put up. Very simple. I wish it would shrink down smaller when its not in use, but besides that GREAT GATE! 06/01/2009

Not very rugged - as my daughter got to about 18 months of age she started pulling and pushing on these and they broke. They were very function while they lasted 05/31/2009
