Great fireplace gate We purchased this as a way to block off our fireplace from our baby. It's very sturdy and easy to install. I decided to go with this model so that we can also use it outside as a play pen once it get's warm. It's heavy enough that I know the baby won't be able to it over, as a play pen, and very secure as a fireplace gate. It's also easy to remove, so that we can have more space in the living room, when we need it. 01/07/2011
excellent gate excellent gate; good construction; hinges can lock at many angles between 0 degrees and 180. I bought it to surround the Christmas tree and keep away two 32 month old boys. A little pricey. 01/06/2011
Does its job We purchased the gate to keep our little one away from the gas fireplace, it works well and now we can relax and use the fireplace without having to worry about the little one getting to close and burning her hands. 01/02/2011
