Perfect for Scared toddlers! My Daughter hates getting her tempertature taken. This helps immensely! Yes, you do need to get very close to take an accurate temp., BUT it takes only seconds and you can do it without disturbing a sleeping child! It does beep when the temperature is ready to be read, but that is not bad. I would like to have the readout stay iluminated (whether a fever or not). Great price. I would recommend this product. Comes with a velour case to store it in. 03/30/2011
Accurate & Dummy Proof I researched several thermomoters and tried out a few, this one is the best that I've came across. It's dummy proof so you don't have to worry about getting an accurate reading. Just turn on, click start and scan the area or object.Works great for testing bath water temperature as well. 02/03/2011
