Rated 4 out of 5 by ComparisonShopperTX Trash Can Is Excellent The only reason I did not give this trash can five stars is because the first one I received through site to store did not work, so I had to return it and order another one. Not the best quality control. However, the new one finally arrived and it works great. It does open when I walk too close to it but I don't mind that. I'd rather it be too sensitive than not. Slim design fits perfectly in the space in my kitchen and I love not having to touch a dirty trash can. Highly recommend except for the bad experience with the first order. I liked it so much I bought one for my mom and she loves it too! 10/11/2012

I did my homework, shopping in stores and online, even checking Sam's Club and o.co, but this was the very best deal at the best price. I bought 2. One for trash and one for recyclables. They look great and work very well. We have a curious 9 month old and I can testify that these cans do NOT show fingerprints. Two things to note: 1. the can itself is not leak-proof, so if your trashbag leaks the liquid will leak out of the can too, and 2. the auto open feature on the lid is very sensitive. The lid opens every time I walk by. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. 09/09/2012

I like this trash can, and I even get compliments from visitors on it.I read reviews that this cannot go in high-traffic areas of the house because the lid will constantly come up, but that has not been an issue for me...if you are several inches (less than a foot) away when walking by.I like the way it looks, and it matches my stainless steel / black appliances perfectly. I've only had it a couple months and haven't had any problems. 07/10/2012
