It's all good! I've been looking for a while for a dual canister for trash and recyclables. Of course, the original one I wanted was $230 and I just can't imagine spending that much on a garbage can! I came across this one and I'm very happy with it. The sensor isn't too sensitive and it's not loud at all. The only downfall is that there is no plastic bin in the compartment itself for easy emptying but I'm going to try to find something that will fit easily so I don't need to use a trash bag and keep emptying that into the recycle bin. That's why I rated 4 stars. It looks good too, not too big, not too small. I'm very happy with it! :) 04/25/2012
WE LOVE IT!!! We’ve been trying to find a nice looking and functional two-bin, trash + recycle can for a few months now. All of the others we’ve found have been much more expensive and very bulky looking. This bin looks fantastic in our kitchen and we absolutely LOVE the germ-free/ hands-free lid! The only complaint that we have is that there’s a small dent in the top/center, right underneath the lid. However, the dent is barely noticeable and is due to a screw in the design and not damage from packaging or shipping. I have included pictures for those of you who’re concerned about the dent. We recently replaced all of our kitchen appliances with new stainless ones and I can tell you that three of them had to be returned due to dents. I consider myself pretty picky, and this dent is not bad at all. I didn’t want to rate this item a perfect 5 because of the small dent, but it’s definitely a solid 4.75. Overall, we are very satisfied with this trash bin and would highly recommend it. I hope this helps =) 04/13/2012
Love it so far I've had the trash can for about a month. So far it's great. No more trying to figure out how to open the can with my hands full, just hover over the sensor and it opens itself. Having the recycle and garbage in the same can is very helpful. The rings that hold the bags in place work very well but also make it a pain to take out. But that's a small problem and doesn't take away from the overall good points. Everyone who sees it wants one. 03/30/2012
