You keep odors from your trash contained and you don't have to touch the lid. Great!The problem with this trash can's design is the lid portion; it's too 'bulky' making it really easy for food scraps or other trash to fall onto the lid instead of into the hole to the trash bag. Dirty trash cans get really smelly and aren't fun to clean.If the opening for the trash can hole were larger - the look and design of this product would be much improved. 01/08/2012

I had a stainless steel step-on that constantly broke at the foot pedal, leaving you to touch the can to pick the lid up. The feature of this can allows you to handle food and use the can without having to touch it and having to rewash your hands all the time. For this reason, this is a must for anyone who has small children. It's very sanitary and simple to use. The sensor activates as you come right up to it and then the lid opens for your disposal. The best and cheapest I have found is right here on WalMart.com. Not even the store has this can. They carry the step on models which for some odd reason are more than double in price and nowhere near as nice as this one is. I've had more people comment on this trash can and couldn't believe the price. I ended up purchasing 2 more for family members who flipped out over this model. Never thought a trash can would be such a hit! You won't be disappointed with this purchase. I had it delivered to my house and it came in no time at all. I love WM.com. Most of my Christmas shopping was through their site with either free or 97 cent shipping! 01/03/2012
