Awesome Camera! This is my first DSLR camera, and I am very impressed! I go out almost everyday and take pictures. I would recommend this camera to anyone that wants a DSLR type camera. The only gripe I have is the lack of battery grip. Hopefully a grip will be released in the near future! 11/10/2010

The D3100 is exactly what I wanted. Bought this camera to be able to photograph a friend's acrylic paintings and turn them into cards for the artist's family and friends. The work is complete and the cards will be printed very soon.The camera was everything and more than I could ask for: easy to handle; built in Guide a tremendous help; 'live" view feature marvelous. The D3100 is a wonderful addition to my life. 11/10/2010
