Rated 5 out of 5Â by Havitall Wonderful Camera with good battery life I have the L22 model; searched about 5 stores to find it. I purchased it a year ago and I love it. The quality of the pics are great, video is great, features are simple and easy to use and the 3.6x optical zoom is okay for the camera price. The auto focus comes in handy, but hinders zooming in on things well. I often use a photo program and the pictures crop well with little or no distortion. The battery life is great compared to other brands and models. It has a sleek, not bulky design and large lcd. The downside is that it is not fantastic for sports or motion pics, but that's where the video comes in handy!! Overall, I have recommended this series of Nikon to all of my friends and family. When I upgrade, it will be a Nikon! 10/30/2011
Rated 5 out of 5Â by waynet4553 Great little camera works great I bought this camera bundle for a 9 year old,but after using it a few times I decided to keep it for myself and bought him another one before his birthday came up.I would recomend this camera its easy to setup and to use takes good pictures and also great videos,I actually bought 2 after getting the first one and seeing how good it was. 12/01/2011
Rated 1 out of 5Â by LeahKC Broken battery hinge I just bought this camera today and within five minutes of taking it out of the box the battery hinge clasp broke and will not stay closed so the batteries keep falling out. It takes really good pictures I am dissapointed to have to exchange it for another one tomorrow. 12/22/2011
Rated 1 out of 5Â by Redstickrick The Nikon L20 was easier. L24 too complicated If it is not broken, dont fix it. I wanted to get another Coolpix L20, but it is replaced with this L24. Very hard to operate. Many blurred pics. The telephoto at the top is too small to manuver while holding camera to get closer pics. Takes long inbetween shots to take the next one. Bringing it back to get a Canon Power Shot. Nikon should leave well enough along . The L20 far surpassed this newer, yet not improved model.RedstickRick 07/17/2011
