My son purchased this table in black as a gift.  I wanted to use in my entry way.  It looks great!  Just the right size, coordinates well with my living room.  It is sturdy, not too heavy, not wobbly.  The drawer opens smoothly and easily, no sticking or pushing.  It was not hard to put together.  The only issue was with one leg screw that was too short and would not 'catch', so we had to leave off a washer.  I used felt for the feet (instead of the tips).  I think it is a great piece. SERIOUSLY I think this is my favorite piece of furniture in the house. I spent ages researching these types of tables and narrowed it down to my top few. I was comparing aesthetics and decided the other ones were a bit square and desk like. So I ordered this one and wasn't completely sure I'd like it once I saw it in front of me.

Delivery came really fast. I'm not going to lie, it did take AGES to put up and the instructions aren't the most detailed (which us partly why I think it took do long to build - we spent a while checking what we were about to do was the correct step with the right pieces).

Once it was put together it looked beautiful. The only thing I was sure on was the drawer handle (it was very grey and had a bit of a plasticy look to it, even though it's not plastic). So I went to Home Depot and bought a satin nickel knob and the whole piece looks perfect.

Everyone compliments us on it and ask us where we go it from, to which I reply 'you won't believe this, but it came from Walmart'

Only 2 negatives you should really be aware of are:

1) time consuming to build
2) the shelf holes on ours weren't lined up properly so we had to drill 2 holes to make it work. A minor, easily fixable issue. You can't notice anything once it's constructed and I'd expect this may just be ours vs the whole production line

Wow what a beautiful piece of furniture

I received the table relatively quick and it came in a very large and very heavy box. After my husband and i hauled the box in the house we opened it, which was a job in itself, we took out all the table pieces, a gazillion screws, dowels etc. and put them all over the family room floor. Must admit i have to give them 5 stars for the packing as it was a job unpacking it. After all that, we find that we HAD NO INSTRUCTION MANUAL! My hubby is usually pretty good at figuring things out, but due to the large amount of different size screws etc., it seemed almost impossible without directions. I called the Walmart i ordered it through and was told that i would have to call the manufacturer. I called the manufacturer, but since it was after 4 on a Friday, i had to wait until Monday. In the meantime, when we unwrapped the top of the table we noticed it had a scratch about 5 inches long. On Monday i got through to the manufacturer and was told they would have to look and see if they could find a spare instruction manual and see if the warehouse had a new table top to replace ours with the long scratch. A couple days later, i received an email from them, stating that included with my email, were the instructions that i could download and copy, and that they did NOT have an extra table top in the warehouse. The only option they gave me, was to pack up all the parts, find a way to repack them back in the box that was cut open in several places, and take it back to Walmart and tell them that i could ship it back free for a replacement. NOT what i wanted to hear. We are older, and how we could repack all this, and even get it into our car to return, was beyond me. So, after tripping on all the parts on the family room floor for about 5 days, we worked for two days guessing which part, which screw, which hole took a dowel, how the drawer gliders went on etc., and got it together. (The instruction manual would not download on my computer by the way) Is it put together right? I doubt it, but actually it is a pretty table, (with the exception of the scratched top) and seems heavy and pretty durable. I cannot understand what would have been so hard about sending me an instruction manual and replacing a scratched table top, thus, my lower than it would have been rating.

WOULD BE HAPPY WITH THE TABLE MINUS THE TROUBLE

If only I would have read the reviews before, the table is very cute and it does look exactly like the picture once you put together... but putting it together... that's the tricky part, it took me hours, the instructions are so bad, it has a million screws and parts, and like someone else mentioned, it had no holes where it was supposed to and then some had too many, it looks good but I don't think it will last too long.... I got a console which came almost fully assembled from Target for the same price and it's still perfect and strong since 2 years ago when I bought it, this one I don't think will last that much...

A JOB TO PUT TOGETHER

This table is very cute and fits perfect where I wanted it to go..however, it took FOREVER to put together. If there was an option to have delivered assembled, I would of paid more to save hours of my time. :( Over all...it is a perfect fit. Not a perfect piece of furniture to assemble.

Cute but AWFUL to put together

It looks nice in the pictures, but is very cheaply constructed and designed. The materials are some of the worse I've ever used in a typical do-it-yourself piece of furniture. If I had known this I wouldn't have given more than $50 for this product. If I could take it to a local walmart completely assembled, I would! The drawer rubs, the legs don't touch the floor equally, and the paper-thin top laminate was marred out of the box. It took approx. 1 1/2 hrs to fully assemble.

Not worth the money

Very heavy because mostly particle board. Color is good, but had a gauge in 1 leg when we got it. It is much taller than I expected, and extremely hard to put together so my husband tells me. We are going to return it.

Too tall and mostly particle board

I loved the look of the table. However, I could not get the sides and kegs to go together securely. Then, the top would not line up with the base. I have had it a month and I have a neighbor that purchased correct size metal connectors for it. Hopefully, he will be able to put it together shortly.

Console table

I will be returning this to the store this week. It was missing parts, and the directions were very hard to follow! The boards did not sit flat. I would not recommend this to anyone!

Horrible buy!

So first off, I was super excited about this table. The picture was beautiful!! The espresso color is exactly as expected which is a plus. It's tall and wide as expected. Hence I gave it 1 star.

Why didn't I give it 5stars? Where do I begin... It was made out of particle board. the instructions were horrible. It was all pictures. There were a billion pieces. There were no holes were there were supposed to be for the screws so we had to force drill the screws into the wood. Once we put it together the bottom shelf was too small for the unit and it didn't fit. By the time I realized it, we were already 3 hours into putting it together and I was not unscrewing to haul it back to Walmart for a return. I didn't get it on sale but I wish I did because for the amount of money spent I could have gotten a console table, plant, lamp, and mirror at IKEA. The only resolution at this point is to go to Home Depot to find a piece of wood to hold up the bottom shelf somehow. Very disappointed
