It is only 4 power. The mount is perfect for the groove on a Beeman .177

Although this is rated for .22 rifles, I STRONGLY suggest the 4X32 Bushnell (sold by Wal-mart $29.99) I do this for several reasons, with the 32mm you have a much larger field of view, VERY important when shooting in poor lighting conditions. You have a better adjustment range as far as the eye piece adjustment and on the rings. Again with the 32mm you will have faster target aquistion( very important if you are hunting) I know this is a late answer to your question, I&#39;m sorry about that. I hope it answers someone elses question. I was marksmen in the Air Force so I know a little bit about shooting, scopes and proper caliber to power (magnification and objective (tube) sizing.

Scope

This scope works well on my .22 cal pellet rifle.  It was easy to mount and adjust.

i bought this scope and it is great. Shoot birds and everything with it. I recommand it.

GOOD scope

Perfect fit as a replacement for pellet gun. Ideal indoor target scope.

ONLY complaint is that the eyepiece doesn't extend far enough to get a comfortable position. I find myself sliding up on my stock to catch the reticle. Might just be my air rifle, though. (Crosman Phantom) good scope, though... Every shot within 1 in. at 35 yds.

The scope is hard to see through because of the shadow ring. Overall ok but not for accuracy,.

NC STAR 4×20 SCOPE

Good enough for an air pistol like the crosman pumpmaster classic or 1377. However the eye relief (how far your eye has to be from the lense) is 2.5 inches. So you have to double hand the pistol. For an average rifle it is not good. With a shoulder stock, the eye relief is too short. On the pistol it is fine without a carbine shoulder stock. So for a pistol with little or no recoil it is fine since it will be 2.5 inches from your eye. The optics considering that, are fine for daylight hours. Coin or screw driver adjustments on the scope.
