Rated 5 out of 5 by DAN88 Not built for large guns, but great for 22 rimfire I've mounted the scope on my Mossberg 22 rimfire rifle, and it sure is exciting to hit thebullseye every time at 25 yards (75 feet). Setting 3 on the dot brightness is great for bright daylight. The 1 and 2 setting is better for dim lighting. The controls are very stiff and for my79 year old hands require thin plastic kitchen gloves to manipulate them. That is not really adrawback; it's a lot better than too loose. Really a great bargin in dot scopes. 02/24/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by TacicalJHP Not worth it. I purchased the sight because i was looking for a 1x scope with a cross-hair, and not a red dot. Received the sight and was completely disappointed. The sight is cheaply made of plastic, loose tolerances on all turrets, and is a DOT SIGHT. Despite the item picture clearly showing a cross-hair sight, this is a 1 M.O.A. red dot. This sight may be good for a BB gun, Airsoft gun, or a seldom used .22 rifle, but no where near acceptable for anything else. On the plus side, it did some with batteries installed and an extra set in the box, which is nice.I would return this sight, but since it is not from Walmart themselves, the return process is overly long and complicated, so I'm going to give it away.Don't waste your money. 06/05/2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by gregorme You get what you pay for This thing is cheap. It all plastic, the red dot isn't even symmetrical and the turrets aren't user friendly. But honestly, I'm the only one to blame, 14 dollars for a red dot...what do you really expect? At that price you're in Fischer Price range; an that's what you get, a toy. After I sighted it in on my 10/22 takedown...it wouldn't hold zero. it kept drifting down and to the left. 01/08/2013
