Classy When my friends have asked where I got my new hamper from, they can't believe that it is a Walmart find! This hamper actually looks like a piece of furniture. The only drawback is the hamper itself is on the small side- but is utilized in the guest bath so does its job well. I love the shelf feature to put guest towels and room on the top to place toiletries and such. 11/24/2008
FANTABULOUS I came across this pull out hamper by accident while looking for something else. I was intrigued by its unusual appearance. I read the only review and decided to buy one to put next to my pedestal sink, as I was in desperate need of storage space. As it was the Christmas period, I got free shipping to my home. I was surprised when it arrived; I had to put it together! I've only ever done that once, and it was successful. I took time to figure it out and I managed to do it. I felt so clever! My bathroom was really drab, pale walls, white sink, toilet and bathtub, I was a little nervous that this may look too dark. When I saw it next to the sink, it looked great, so much so I ordered another for the other side. It arrived Christmas Eve and like the other I put it together using a Philips screwdriver, which was a little on the large size, but I managed to do it with a bit or elbow grease. I had to use glue in a few places, so I had to get it right! The screws for the backing were very tiny, I needed a teeny Philips screwdriver which I didn't have, I used an eyeglass screwdriver instead. I could hardly see the tiny holes, but I was determined to finish it. The two pull out hampers looked so good either side of the sink. I loved the contrast of the dark wood. I just collected the Neu Home Wall Cabinet (in this collection) from Walmart, and was ready to put it together. I was pleasantly surprised, I didn't need to, it was already assembled and ready to hang on the wall, and included the hardware needed to hang it up. I was excited to find there was plenty of storage space, more than I expected. I also bought two mirrored bath pictures with black frames from Target on line, they have 6 different pictures16 1/2" square, and look very classy. I chose the one with the red background and the Tub Mahal with blue. I also bought a Manor Hill Kashmir Shower Curtain from this site to go with the look. I am so excited with my new bathroom; I can't stop looking at it. I'm waiting for a mirror with a black frame, which will look fantastic. Don't be afraid to buy these they are good quality, in fact recently I went to a well known hardware store which sells bathroom furniture, and the quality wasn't nearly as good as these. Now I have to think of another look for the other bathroom! 01/03/2011
its a very nice piece and defenetly good for what I need 'laundry', the only thing is that when I was putting it together some of the screws went through the wood, but are not noticable, just something I know about 06/16/2011
