    Helpful, Durable, Great Organizer!!! :)

I bought 4 of these! They are perfect for my pantry. Each one took less than 5 minutes to set up. No tools required! When they come out of the package, open the sides ('wings') and flip them all the way around-approximately 270 degrees. Make sure the rubber 'feet' are on the bottom. Then hang each of the 3 racks. There are 9 'separation' rods--3 for each rack. Start by attaching the rods in the back and then they will fit just right when seated in the front. My shelves are 17" high. With just regular common sized cans, allow 14 1/2" clearance. These hold ~50 cans depending on the can size. I even store Hamburger Helper Boxes, Top Roman bags and Pop Secret boxes on the top racks. I love this product. I may go back for more. They organized my cans so now I can see what I have. These are not 'First-In-First-Out.' To load new cans, I take out the row, put in the new cans so they are in the back and add the old product in to use first. Hope this helps - Enjoy.

Not too easy to assemble, what I like most is you can arrange the rows for different size cans. Neat product.........

I had been looking for something to help me organize all the cans in our pantry. I am a mom of 4 kids - and do not have a large walk in pantry. I saw this online, read all the reviews and purchased 2. Since I had read the reviews, I was a little nervous about putting it together. The first one I did make the same mistake many others have - I didn't turn it inside out the way the directions show. However, once I realized this it took me a total of 2 minutes to put together and even less time to put the 2nd one together. This organizer is bigger than I expected. I could not put 2 side by side in my pantry - and because it slants up, we can only put 4 cans instead of 5 on the top row because the shelving in my pantry is too close together. They are 18" wide give or take a 1/2". My pantry shelves are 13 1/4" apart. It is difficult to add new cans to the back of the "line" of cans - so you don't truly get FIFO (first in, first out) ordering unless you remove all the older cans, place the newer ones in and then replace the older ones. But having said that, I love that I'm not having to stack cans one on top of another throughout my pantry - my kids can just grab one if they need it without knocking things on the floor.

    • It depends on the size of the cans. There are 3 shelves and there are dividers for 3 rows on each shelf. If you are using regular 12-16 oz cans, you can fit 6 per row.

    • I have 45-15 ounce cans on mine. The dividers adjust to hold taller or shorter cans. *Flat cans (such as tuna) must be turned, end of can facing outward to fit without leaning. Still looks neat & keeps everything together.

    • I got 5-6 cans per row and 3 rows each on the bottom shelf and middle shelf. On the top shelf due to a little more head room i stacked that one 2 deep. I really holds strongly.

    • Depending on size, regular 8 oz cans it holds about 35. I have several different sizes and my two units hold every can that was covering my whole shelf from front to back and stacked. It has made a big difference in the storage area in my pantry.

    • I can get 3 "big" cans across and 5 deep - so each row will handle about 15 cans. I did add tuna/chicken cans to one row which allowed me to have more than 15 cans - but they weren't the normal size green bean/soup can

    • It depends on the size of the cans. I have 4 large cans of tomato sauce, a large can of pumpkin and two large cans of fruit. Then, there are 6 cans of tuna, 2 cans of tomato paste and about 10 cans of soup, veggies, and kids ravioli. It was a lot more than I expected - but it really depends on the size of the cans.

    • It holds a lot, depending on the size of the can. Heavy when full so put it in the pantry first, then load it up. Make sure you turn the shelf the right way when setting it up and you won't have any troubles.

Since it is not a rollout unit, and appears would be very heavy even partially filled, how do you add new cans to the back so older cans can be used first, especially to the middle and lower rack?
    by bobbij42 2/5/2011
    • You can accommodate up to 3 rows of cans on each shelf, and maybe 6 cans per row. There are dividers between the rows, so it is easy for me to just take out the few cans in the front to add more to the back.

    • I would not attempt to move the unit while any cans are on it. I remove the cans from the front of the rack & put the new ones in, from the front to refill. It takes a few minutes, but a lot cheaper & a lot more sturdier than the rollout units I priced, metal.

    • You either have to leave space in the back to add new cans to your rotation or you must take the older ones out through the front and add new ones to the back.

    • I take the few front cans out and replace from the back. There aren't so many that it's a big problem. I purchased my second rack, and it has freed up so much space in my pantry that it's totally incredible. Love this product. It's very heavy duty and easy to use.

    • Really? It is only at MOST a 5 can row...pull the cans out & put in newer cans in, then replace older cans. If you are probably don't have 5 cans in the row anyway. OR buy the pop can dispenser (Neu Home 12-Can Dispenser) which works on gravity to roll forward...of course you need a deep cupboard for these units, of about 19+ inches at Walmart, one can wide or two can wide 24-can dispenser, both with wire shelf on top.

    • all you have to do is pull out the cans (it's only like 4-5 deep so it's pretty easy) and yes it is extremely heavy when full.

    • You can't really. If you want to do that, you'll have to get a different one. I saw one where you put the new cans in the top and it rolls to the back and then down to the bottom.

    • not easy... take all the existing cans out, place new ones in, add pre-existing ones back... since it only holds 5 deep, it's not as bad as you'd think.
