The router offers a Push 'N' Connect that provides a secure connection with the touch of a button. It can be used with RangeMax Wireless-N adapters to boost a network's performance and range. With wireless access control that identifies authorized wireless network devices, the Netgear Wireless-N Router also features intrusion detection and prevention (IDS), denial-of-service (DoS) attack prevention, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK), Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) 64-bit, 128-bit encryption, stateful packet inspection (SPI) firewall to deny outside requests for personal information and Network Address Translation (NAT) to hide computer hard drives and files from outside users. The refurbished wireless-N router also provides parental controls and secure gaming.

I had problems the first time I set up a net gear router, because the setup is different than Linksys and cisco (way easier). I went back and followed all three steps recommended by manufacturer and presto django, it works. 01/08/2013
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Rally442 Good wirelsss for the $$ After a little more than a month of use, I don't have any complaints for this router. Everything is working like it should. Its been on for the whole time, and its not gotten hot or even smells like its hot. The only reason I got it was for the net book I purchased, having to use it as a wireless laptop. I know nothing about how good this unit is for speed purposes, but my connection speed is listed at 54 Mbps, with excellent strength. I don't get much more than 10 feet away from the unit, while I'm using my net book.This unit is refurbished and was a little bit skeptical about purchasing it. Therein lies why I waited in writing this review. Not sure what else to say about it. It was easy to set up with easy to follow instructions, and came with the ethernet cable, and the power cord is approximately 5 feet long 01/06/2013
