The router offers a Push 'N' Connect that provides a secure connection with the touch of a button. It can be used with RangeMax Wireless-N adapters to boost a network's performance and range. With wireless access control that identifies authorized wireless network devices, the Netgear Wireless-N Router also features intrusion detection and prevention (IDS), denial-of-service (DoS) attack prevention, Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK), Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) 64-bit, 128-bit encryption, stateful packet inspection (SPI) firewall to deny outside requests for personal information and Network Address Translation (NAT) to hide computer hard drives and files from outside users. The refurbished wireless-N router also provides parental controls and secure gaming.

Rated 1 out of 5 deceptive $19!!! Great price, right? Well, yeah -- if it worked. Keeps dropping signal, then comes back up randomly with signal unprotected! They should pay ME $19 for the two hours I just wasted trying to get this piece of garbage to work. 11/30/2012
Rated 4 out of 5Â by agbat Worth the money With the old router this replaced, I could not stream on two computers at the same time with the 300 I can. Set up requires some know how but is basically simple. The ad for this device says it comes with a set up disc and support and that is not true. If you cannot make this work at least you can take it to the store and get your money back. You must enter the www.netgear.net on a browser to access the router using the provided admin and password log in. Once at the options screey you just select the ones you want. Some options I had no idea what they were for but apparently the default works fine. Be sure to change the login id and password. I chose not to allow guests but you have the option to allow guests and set the bandwidth available to them. Hope this helps. I think this is a good router for 1/2 of what the new one would run you. 11/29/2012
