Rated 3 out of 5★ by Emerald88 Set up was problematic. Product was recognized, then set up returned to beginning of set up procedure. Troubleshooting suggested that firewall may have blocked. No such block was identified. Driver update was suggested but could not be accomplished. After Norton utilities were run, the driver updated and set up then completed successfully. The cause of the problem was never identified. After successful set up, the adapter worked flawlessly. The computer was a new Toshiba Portege (1 week old) running Windows 8. The TV was a brand new LG 47SL4500. 11/18/2012

Rated 5 out of 5★ by lpjakob Works as advertised New HP Envy17 3D laptop was ordered with the Netgear Push2TV PTC2000HD. I followed Netgear directions step by step which includes updating Intel drivers. I connected the Netgear to our Mitsubishi HD 3D TV via the included HDMI cable; everything worked perfectly from the start. Could not have asked for a better performance. HD video along with full theatre surround. If you want to cut the cable, this is an excellent alternative. 02/28/2012
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Rogue7 Awesome Product Works Great! Highly recommend 5 Star all the way, and I usually don't like NetGear products. This works great with a 2nd Gen i7 2.10Ghz w/ boost to 3.10Ghz like something of the future. 02/13/2012
Rated 3 out of 5★ by ChrisK Not worth it. Easy to install and connect, but frequently loses connection. Updated firmware on the device and drivers on the computer but still drops connection. HDMI cable is cheaper and more reliable. 12/26/2011
Rated 3 out of 5★ by digger25 Worked for me but... This netgear product can work with an HP dm4-1080us laptop like mine. And yes, the 1080us has a 2nd gen Intel I5 processor. But don't expect your Netgear device to connect to this laptop without inputing several minutes of your trouble shooting/updating time. Should your laptop ever connect to the netgear adapter, like mine eventually did, you'll be impressed with what it can do without wires. 12/27/2011
