The Nesco Gardenmaster Food Dehydrator Jerky Maker FD-1020 ensures drying power of 1000watts. Equipped with a top mounting fan facilitating 1000 revolutions per minute; the Nesco food dehydrator helps dry edibles such as fruits and vegetables with remarkable ease. The high power of the maker in addition to its adaptable thermostat also aids the drying process.
The safe food dehydrator has four trays; but the trays are expandable to as many as thirty trays. It is designed so that the trays do not need to be rotated. The Nesco Gardenmaster Food Dehydrator Jerky Maker FD-1020 included a screen for drying and a sheet for fruit rolling. The plastic opaque exterior of the jerky maker serves to resist harmful rays. The technology of the Converga-Flow drying action facilitates even and speedy drying.

The product worked as expected. Simple to use. I made beef jerky the fist night I picked it up at the store. I cannot comment on delivery because it was delayed due to Hurrican Irene. I will use the site to store again. Thanks Wal-mart 09/04/2011
