Rated 1 out of 5★ by DarthChizzle Had to return it twice! My son opened the Diatron as a birthday gift. To be honest, we were both excited to unbox it. We get the gun ready and load the discs. When we pulled the priming lever, everything seemed fine. We pushed the lever back and everything again working... except the trigger. I re-read the instructions. Nothing mentions any kind of safety lock or anything. So I unload all the ammo to make sure its not jammed. I thought maybe the lever didn't click all the way. So I re-primed the lever just for it to get stuck in the out position. I returned it for a new one and the second one has done the same thing. I cant find anything online about it. Just really annoying. I just kept the Walmart gift card this time so my son can pick out a different NERF gun altogether. 05/23/2013
Rated 2 out of 5★ by Kai84 Has an instruction manual This was good practice for nothing else than teaching my nephew, "Always read the 3 pages of instructions before trying to just shove the disks in and assuming that you can now pull the trigger and fire". I'll admit, it was mostly our fault for handing it to him before insisting he read the instructions, but it ended up being a matter of him trying to open the gun to insert disks, only to open the 'priming lever', which then would not push closed again. His mom and I tried as well, we read the instructions, checked the online help, etc. And still not closing, and no real help. It DID say, "it will feel like you might break it, but it's not actually going to break. Push the priming lever closed hard." When this was attempted, it DID break, and the gun had to be returned. My nephew chose to get some Lego's instead. 05/27/2013
