Take it from me am a big fan of nerf products and think i can say this one is my favorite. Now your probable asking is it worth the price?,it definetle is i mean you get 3 18 dart capacity clips and a 6 dart capacity quick reload clip plus a bipod a sheild and 60 darts what more can you ask for.The down fault is that it uses 6D batters wich is bulky (Heavy)but thats pretty much it for the bads.Proformance is phenomenal it shoots very far like 50 feet!!!.Overall i recomend this blaster to any body.

I am a huge fan of Nerf and I got this the day it came out. It's like an assault rifle. It uses any n-strike clip-system clips. You get a ton of stuff with $50-the gun, shield, pop-out bipod, three 18-round clips, a 6-round clip, and 60 darts. But with the value pack you can get 100! It strikes fear in opponents in Nerf wars. Everytime I come at them with this gun they back away. Its range and accuracy is good. It's most effective at close and medium ranges. What I hate about it most is that it takes 6 D batteries and is unreliable with the 35-round drum. My friend wants one now badly and says he is going to buy it. KEEP IT UP, NERF!!!

The stamped is a great blaster. My favorit so far.I mean it is a full auto blaster, it has a removable shild that can go on any nerf baster(with an atachment rail)and a handle/bibod that can do the same thing. The only 2 down sides are that the bipod dosent hold the blaster like its supost to with the extended clip. The other reason is that the 6 D batterys make it like 10 pounds. But all around its a great blaster.

    • I could not get my sons to work. We had to take it back. No, the gun does not work without batteries. There is no manual load like the Vulcan has.

    • Depending on how much it is used. If used for an hour a day the batteries would last about a month or so. It won't fire anything without batteries.

    • Not sure on the battery life, probably would depend on how long you use it, but there is on on/off switch so utilizing that should help prolong. There is no single shot setting, but it fires slow enough for a user to pull the trigger in order to fire one shot then release. Will not fire at all without batteries.

    • Battery life will depend on usage. We've had ours for 2 weeks and its still working. My son probably uses it for 2 hours a week. It will fire single if you release the trigger. Otherwise, it will keep firing. It will not operate without battery

    • Yep. We loaded all the clips from the different Nerfs and they fit the N-Strike with no problem. Use the orange tipped bullets and not the black ones though.

    • yes they are all interchangable

    • Nerf makes at least two different types of bullets, the clip-style bullets and the whistler bullets. DO NOT use the whistler bullets in the N-Strike gun ! As for the clips, I can't say for sure if they are interchangable from other Nerf guns, but the N-Strike comes with three clips that each hold 18 bullets, so I don't know why you would need any more clips than that. During a good shoot out, you can barely keep two of the three clips even loaded even with someone else doing the loading for you while you shoot !

    • According to my son, the clip will fit; however, the bullets need to be the same as the Stampede.

    • Yes. The clips are interchangeable with other N-strike. We use the CS6.

    • Only the clip system darts work in the clip. The darts can function in other guns, like the Maverick, but they may still jam or not fire as far.

    • Yes, the clips are made the same just longer so they will fit any Nerf gun that uses clips.
