Every cut. Every time. For first aid antiseptic use, adults and children 2 years of age and older: clean the affected area; pump a small amount of this product on the area 1 to 3 times daily; let foam dissipate into wound; wipe off excess with sterile gauze; may be covered with a sterile bandage; if bandaged, let dry first. For wound cleansing, adults and children 2 years of age and older: to clean dirt and debris, pump a small amount of this product and wipe off with a sterile gauze; children under 2 years of age: consult a doctor. Store at 20 degrees to 25 degrees C (68 degrees to 77 degrees F). Do not freeze.

This stuff is the best. I just had surgery, and I wanted something that wouldn't sting my sutures. I've been able to use the foam on a cotton pad to clean around my stitches, and it's been super gentle while removing dried blood.

My son took a chunk out of his knee on Monday at an asphalt pump track (yeah.. he's not allowed to ride without knee pads now) and this stuff was the best I have found so far for pain management, cleanliness, and healing.  For the win!!

Kids get hurt, they skin their knees and get scrapes from all the playing they do. Neosporin foaming antispetic is the perfect way to keep infections away. It doesn't sting so kids don't mind using it. It's perfect to apply before bandage. We always have this in our camper as well for those summer camping trips.

Neosporin

Bought this for my 2 year old's first aid kit but used it myself for the first time when I fell and scraped my leg. I figured I'd try it on myself before using it on my little one. It did sting. The foam is nice as it's easy to apply on a large area such as my injury but I might keep it for myself and use it to keep cleaning my cuts/scrapes as they heal but don't think I'll use it on my little one. I'm afraid it'll hurt her.

My Dad just put this on a cut on the outside of my ear.
I found it painful- not sure if I would push the "no sting" side of this product.

My son's school nurse put this on a scrape he had and he started screaming immediately, so she wiped it off. After she had wiped it off, the skin around the scrape was puffy and red. I am not sure what the reason is for the switch from bacitracin, neomycin,  and polymyxin, but we'll be avoiding this product and products like it in the future.
