I was impressed. I can't say I was expecting too much for $22 since I had just looked at several sets of earbuds for $25ish that didn't seem to be anything special. But the larger drivers lured me in because I like to hear the drums and bass in my music so I decided to try them anyway. I wouldn't call the bass "head pounding" as advertised but it is very good, much better than any other earbud that I've tried so far (you'll throw away the ones that came with your iPod). Also the first noise-cancelling style ear buds that haven't been uncomfortable for me to wear. I like the design, they stand out and seem like they will be durable. Only drawback is the upper midrange seems a little louder than everything else on certain songs. Overall I give them two thumbs up, I don't think you can beat it for the price. 01/11/2012
Nice, but SLIGHTLY pricey. Really good, durable earbuds! These have deep bass, best for dubstep/electronic music. They oversell it a bit with the name, but they are pretty good. The only problem was that with shipping, it came to $30 for me D: 01/31/2012
tangly cord can't fit right speaker I love a lot of bass as I like techno and hard rock. I consider myself an audiophile. The bass was not a big dif over my Sony MDRAS35W. The Sony has a light headband that I like also. My right ear canal is an odd angle and I could not find the a cover that would fit. I like that the fabric covered cord is durable but it does not help the tangles all the mobile sets have. I would recommend it to most (that have normal straight ear canals) but keep in mind there is not much to grasp n twist fit .Alisa A 02/17/2012
