When I bought this, it was only $12 in store on sale. So it was even more of a steal. We took it home and set it up in about 5 minutes. It does take a while to fill up, but that's nothing to complain about, considering how much room you end up having. I'm 8 months pregnant and sat in the pool with plenty of wiggle room shared between myself and three others. We even took the pool to the beach and set it up under an umbrella for me. Even sitting on shells and being dragged across the sand, it didn't get the tiniest leak -- and I fully expected it to! The walls are flimsy until it's starting to get a considerable amount of water in it, but then they're plenty sturdy. My baby cousin had a blast running and jumping over the walls and making a big splash. Putting it on level ground makes it more comfortable, and capable of holding more water. I overall was very pleased with this product. The value for the price is unbeatable. I'll continue to use this for relaxation and recreation all summer long:]

    Four Year Old Proof

Great pool for my four year old! and because of the pools 8' diameter, I'm able to lay on a raft and enjoy the summer day as much as he does. - It take about 30 minutes to fill (my experience). - You do have to watch it fill for the first 10 minutes and make sure you get all the wrinkles out of the bottom material (easy) otherwise it tends to fill onto the walls. - I've set this pool up twice now and haven't found a hole. - Easy to dry in the sun before you pack it away for the year. This pool is a far better choice than its blow up counter part.

    • Possibly, but I think they would knock down the sides.

    • I wouldn't think so. A dogs toenails would slice the bottom and it would leak.

    • Our dog got in our pool last year & had a great time, but when we cleaned it a few days later it had small holes in it. So I'm thinking I wouldnt buy one for my dogs.

    • Probably not, as the bottom liner is a soft vinyl and could easily tear with claws! My kids got a slit in it right away and we were very careful with it!

    • No. Because you will rip the bottom of it. Try thoes baby blue hard bottom pools
      by Sepulveda228/18/2012
Was this answer helpful? (1) (0)
    • I would say no. A dogs nails could puncture the vinyl lining. Plus if it is a larger dog, they may jump in and out and cause a side to collapse and the water to drain out. The sides want to collapse as it is- it is a poorly designed pool.

    • I don't think so. The blue rubber tarp on the bottom is easy to puncture. I would opt for one of the hard plastic pools for dogs.

    • No, they would tear it up quite quickly.
      by CCDDEEA7/13/2012

    • NO! It has a thin plastic bottom that would get torn up immediatly with their claws.

    • I would not...the sides are too flimsy, when they go to jump in and out their legs will get caught on the sides and spill water everywhere.

    • No, you hold the sides up until it gets a certain amount of water in it and then they will stand on their own.

    • No, it's a bendable vinyl. The sides are bendable and the bottom also. The bottom is a softer vinyl, easy to slit.

    • No this pool simply unfolds and as it fills the water pressure supports the sides. Hard to clean but for the price is a great way to entertain kids for a week or 2.

    • No, you drain it by holding down a section of the walls as they are bendable, and just letting the water flow out. It was easy for my kids to do, but hard to get that last inch or two drained out.

    • No.! it takes alot of water 540 gallons of water so most people keep the water in it and just buy a pool cover for it or thoes blue plastic tarp . but if you want to get rid of the water then just push the sides in bc it folds easly

    • No drain hole. You release water by pressing a side inward onto itself.
      by MillieO7/17/2012
Was this answer helpful? (0) (0)
    • No, you drain it by pushing the side down into the water or using your hose as a siphon.

    • No and it will require periodic draining and cleaning. I am able to use a garden hose and siphon the water but if you are not uphill from a suitable drainage site this will be problematic
