If your looking to get a medium size pool for the kids (and adults) for family fun at a reasonable price then I would highly recommend this pool! It very easy to set up and was actually a lot bigger than i expected it to be. Although there was one downfall it did not come with a ground cloth... which i would highly recommend getting and using (prevents tears and damage to the bottom liner of the pool) not a big ordeal though I just went to my local hardware store and bought a tarp and used it as a ground cloth. Set up was actually really simple. The filter was a little tricky to get put together and mounted as expected the lack luster tools the kit supplies you with nevertheless the pool went up without any major hitches i would rate this pool a 4 out of 5. I did some research on this pools it was this one verse another pool and im glad i went with this one rather than a 250 dollar pool. You really do get your monies worth out of this pool. Also, it comes with a chlorine dispenser built into the filter for 1 inch round tablets, and a container of the chlorine tablets only costs 11 dollars. Definitely happy with this pool!

This is an excellent product for the money!! It took longer to set up than stated, but that's ok. We we took our time. With our water pressure, it took about 6 hours to fill. Already had chemicals from hot tub. Not that it needs one, we ordered a solar blanket for it. Without, the temp reads 82F.

this is the first pool I have ever bought and it was very easy to put up. I bought it just for Me, my Girlfriend, and my Parents to use (when they come over for BBQ's). My Poppa, Girlfriend and I put it up and it took no more than 45 mins or so before it was being filled with water. Thought we had the ground level but it is about 1/4 to 1/2 inch off level but not enough to make a difference. We have used it every day since we put it up last Saturday. Now I wish I had gotten the bigger one LOL cause I love this one so much--- but it is plenty big enough for us four adults to splash around and get cool on these HOT Georgia days. Best thing is going swimming whenever I wish!! It has been one of the best investments we have made. Easy to clean--- the filter works great and all I really had to learn was what chemicals to use and how to use the hose vacuum we bought to go with it. Water stays sparkly clean as long as you keep the filter cartridge cleaned according to the directions that came with the filter. Highly recommended!!

I bought this pool for myself and my boys (ages 10 & 11). I wanted something that would be deep enough for me to "swim" while not so deep that my boys would have trouble and this fit the bill. I was a little skeptical at first about the size, but I am pleasantly surprised. Don't let the dimensions fool you, this is a very nice sized pool - especially for the price. The box says this has a water depth of 31", however I have about 34" in mine and it falls just above the mid-line of the skimmer. My 11 y.o. son and I put it together ourselves in about 2 hours. The pool itself was very straightforward and relatively easy to set up. The ladder was a pain but didn't take long. The pump....well, that's a different story! It took longer to assemble the pump than it did the entire pool and ladder (do yourself a favor and DON'T try to follow the written instructions for the pump - go by the 3D illustration instead). Filling the pool did take a while though - about 7 hours. Making sure the ground is level is an absolute must or you will seriously compromise the stability of the pool. Thankfully mine was already pretty level (I think it's off by about an inch) so it really was a matter of just laying out a ground cover and assembling the pool on top. My ONLY complaint has to do with the pump. Despite what other people have said, the pump really DOES work well and does a great job at keeping the pool clean if you RUN IT LIKE YOU SHOULD (about 6 - 8 hours a day during the day - NOT at night) and if you keep your chemical levels correct (I also purchased the skimmer/vacuum set for added cleaning power). HOWEVER the plug for the pump has a built in surge protector on it, and while this is a great safety feature, it's also an inconvenience. I put my pump on a timer and every evening when the timer shuts off, the surge protector kicks on the pump plug and I have to go out and reset it or the pump won't come on the next morning. I understand that's what it was designed to do, but it really is a pain in the neck. Other than that, I have no gripes or complaints. The pool is sturdy, large enough to enjoy, easy to set up and hopefully I will get a few good years out of it.

I researched pools for several weeks before I finally ended up purchasing this one. I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After reading many reviews I decided the frame pools were much better rated than the easy set with the inflatable ring. You do need a fairly level spot for this pool. Our yard is NOT completely level and you can tell that one side of the pool is sloped down. We haven't had any problems with this yet. You can see in the picture I uploaded the right side of the pool is slightly higher than the left. We didn't feel it was a big enough problem to go through the hassle of leveling the ground. It took my husband about 2 hours to set up everything, including putting the ladder and pump together. About a week after we set up the pool there was a storm and I was worried the poles would sink into the soggy ground but it has been fine. The pump is not that great. But if you keep the pool clean and make sure the water is correctly balanced you should not have any problems. Our pool got a little green after a big rain but I just added a little shock and ran the pump overnight, it was fine the next morning. This pool is a good size for my 7yo and a few of her friends. I would definitely get something bigger if you have older kids or plan to have lots of people in the pool. The pool doesn't come with a ground cover and you do need this. It also doesn't come with any of the necessary cleaning supplies or chemicals. The best way to clean the pool is to get the vacuum that attaches to the water hose. Don't get the vacuum that attaches to the pump because the filter will not catch all the small debris. I also put a bucket next to the ladder so before the kids get in they can wash their feet. This helps keep the dirt and grass out. Overall I would recommend this pool to someone with younger children. It is work keeping the pool clean. If you don't clean it daily the water will not stay clear. I don't think its worth purchasing a bigger pump for this pool. If you want to invest more money buy a bigger pool. I will update at the end of summer to tell how well the pool has held up.

The box at the store shows the water line as 31 inches. The website lists it as 39 inches deep. Can it be filled closer to 39", say 36" deep? At 31" it barely comes to my waist and there will be an 8" difference if it can only be filled to 31".

  • A. there is a max fill indicator at the intake valve inside the pool. fill it to that line and it's almost full. there is also a line on the inside liner that shows best water height. these pools have overfill protectors, the little cut outs in the liner all along the top frame so it protects the pool from overflowing with rain etc. the more level your ground, the better support the liner will offer, even stress all around the pool. ours is filled to little above the intake skimmer and it's nice and deep.

  • A. No, the water level must be between the minimum and maximum levels marked on the piece of the filter which attaches to the inner wall of the pool.

  • A. If you fill past the level the skimmer will no longer be useful. It's a pool meant for the kiddies. That being said I play with the kids and I don't usually stand upright so it works just fine.

  • A. They always list low water levels on pools to ward off lawsuits. I let the rain almost overflow mine and it held up fine. I ended up draining some back out so the pump return would be above water-works better.

  • A. I have the same pool. On the filter panel there is a line that says maximum .I fill my pool up to that line. For me thats fine but water still splashes out when I'm frolicking around. ITs a strong pool but I'd keep it to the max. limit. If filled up more it just splashes out.

I understand it comes with a skimmer pump, are there any other pumps required for this pool that must be purchased separately?
by an anonymous customer 4/9/2011

  • A. no. pump included takes filter, has skimmer basket on top of that and overflow protector at the intake valve. just make sure your filter is clean and the skimmer basket checked on regular basis to keep the overflow protector flap from being pushed to upright position and reducing water flow to filter which is what will happen with dirty filter or basket. the white bottom on this pool shows more dirt and silt than other similar pools therefore it is harder to keep it clean looking, especially on the bottom. count on doing more skimming and vacumning.
