Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Machine! Very nice machine, made in the USA!!(no metric nuts and bolts). Oil already installed, just added gas and started right up. No snow yet but I'm sure it will run strong with a Briggs and Stratton engine. Also briggs and stratton now owns Murray. Also got free shipping to the local store. This same machine model# 1695979 is $849.00 online!! 12/18/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent value for money. High quality. Great fea We didn’t have much snow in MI as yet, so it is hard to tell how efficient the machine is. As a mechanical engineer, I can tell that the build quality is high and impressive, the operation is relatively simple and driving it back and forth is easy and pleasant. More to follow after the heavy snow falls down. 12/22/2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by good machine this is my first snowblower purchase but i did some research and for the value and price of this machine there wasn't a lot out there that compared. i was a little stumped on the instructions at first because i got this in a box crate from walmart store to site but i realized after looking everything over there was very little to setup on this machine b4 first use. first the briggs and stratton engine is nice, the workmanship and design of this whole machine was well thought out. it ships with the oil in it which means gas it up and go after a couple tightening of bolts. my machine started first pull w/o using the electric start, i was impressed and we had about 6in of heavy wet snow today it this machine had no problem with any of it and will throw the snow 10'-15' easily, the tires grip very well and it is very easy to operate and start, the pull cord is even easy to pull, i don't know if i will even need the electric start but its a good feature, the only thing i wish this snowblower had was a light. besides that i have no complaints, i will re-review this if we get 10+ or 20+ inches of snow to see how the motor really works under some more serious conditions. Definitely a good buy though, same machine at Ace Hardware was $699 i got it for $659 on walmart.com. 01/29/2012
