I have a flag pole that had a light and a ball.  Does this light come with a ball to hold it onto the pole?

NO, fits between the pole truck  and the ball... unscrew the the ball and place the light over the 1/2 inch bolt on the ball and then tighten the ball bolt back onto the truck/pole.

is there a sleeve at the bottom of the light that fits inside or over the flagpole ?will it fit an inch and a half diameter pole?

I had been looking for this type of light for my flag pole for a while now and when I saw this on clearance for $35 it was to good to pass up. It was delivered in just a few days and I unpacked it and set it outside all day to charge. 
The on/off button does not give any indication that you've changed anything. No click or feel so I waited till it was dark to make sure it was turned on and it lit up as it should.
The next day I lowered my pole and was pleased to see that the ball on top had a long enough threaded rod that fit right through the center of the light and tightened up snugly.
That night I waited for it to turn on and after all the other solar lights in my yard had came on and it hadn't I was starting to think it wasn't going to come on. I went into the house and finished a show I was watching and when I came out after a half hour it was shinning bright. When I checked it a dawn the next day it was still shinning bright.

Just what I was looking for.

The light os bright and it has been colder than usual and raining very heavy and the light has held up well.  I am looking to purchase another one for a gift.  I highly recommend this product

A beacon in the night

This light fit perfectly on my 20 foot flag pole and lights it beautifully!

So far its been great hoping the light stays as bright as it has been for the first few days.

Item information and instructions is not included with shipment of the light.  Light is great at nighttime. Had for one week.

We love our new flag pole and light.the one suggestion I would make is put some directions in the light. We took it down 3 times before we had it working. Now it works fine.
