The Mucinex Expectorant Bi-Layer Tablets are fast working, cold relief medicines which relieve chest congestion by thinning and loosening mucus. The pack consists of twenty bi-layer tablets. The first layer of the tablet starts working as soon as its ingested while the extended effect of the second layer stays for twelve hours. The main active ingredients in the Mucinex extended release tablets is Guaifenesin. Other ingredients include Magnesium Stearate, Carbomer 934P, Sodium Starch Glycolate and Hypromellose. The guaifenesin extended release tablets are to be swallowed whole without being broken, crushed or chewed. The Bi Layer tablets are suitable for adults and children above 12 years of age. To obtain best results, a maximum of two tablets are recommended to be taken every 12 hours. The Mucinex chest congestion relief tablets should be preserved and stored in a cool, dry environment.

- Directions: Do Not Crush, Chew, Or Break Tablet; Take W/A Full Glass of Water; This Product Can Be Administered W/Out Regard For The Timing of Meals; Adults & Children 12 Years of Age & Over: One Or Two Tablets Every 12 Hours. Do Not Exceed 4 Tablets In 24 Hours; Children Under 12 Years of Age: Do Not Use. Other Information: Tamper Evident: Do Not Use If Carton Is Open Or Is Seal On Bottle Printed Sealed For Your Protection Is Broken Or Missing; Store Between 20-25 Degrees Celsius (68-77 Degrees Fahrenheit).
