  • Thaw poultry if frozen. Wash & dry well. Combine stuffin' w/meltedbutter or margarine & vegetables (if desired, you may sauté thevegetables in butter or margarine until transparent prior To combiningw/the stuffin'). Stir in liquid (broth, fruit or vegetable juice, wineor water) gradually; blend lightly. Texture may be varied by using moreliquid for moister stuffin', less liquid for drier. Note: self-bastingturkeys may result in a moister stuffin'. Do not stuff poultry untiljust before roasting. Stuff lightly in neck & body cavities, allowingfor expansion during roasting. Sew or skewer openings, roast as usual.After serving, remove any leftover stuffin' & refrigerate. If you haveextra stuffin', place balance in a greased casserole dish, cover & bakeduring the last 45 min Of roasting poultry. Uncover the last 15 minutesfor a crisper top.
