This is the second i40 Camera I have purchased . It was because of the first camera that I bought that made me want to buy another. I have tried other more expensive cameras but none has been as reliable as this. I have had my first camera 3 years and I just love it. Easy to use. Batteries last a long time. Pictures are clear and videos are great. The only thing I have had to do is replace the view panel because it went out after warranty but the company sent me the part for about $14 bucks and u fixed it myself and was back in business was even able to use the camera when the view screen went bad on it. Reliable and durable ..... I did notice that the one I received was not the same color as in the picture here it is a army green . So I hope it turns out to be just as reliable but this photo on Walmart . Com should reflect the exact product

    • It has a strap for attaching to trees, posts etc. Not crazy about the strap. I don't feel it is as strong as it should be. I leave mine out in the woods and check it about once a week. I have also attached mine to a tripod and also use a the strap.. If I want to strap it on to a tree with small circumference or post the tripod makes it a little more stable.

    • It can be left in the woods however long you want. Have had mine out for 3 weeks with no issues. Battery life is claimed to be 5 months.

    • Yes, it can be left out in the woods. They are weather proof to a point. As long as you don't submerge it under water it will hold up quite well.

    • Can see the LEDs glow red for a second. Doesn't stand out like a flash. Mount high enough facing down and it won't be noticeable.

    • This is not a infrared camera. It will flash when it takes a photo. If you don't want the flash you will need to invest in a infrared camera.

    • Yes it works at night and I don't think it flashes. It has sensor that detects nighttime and does not flash but takes great pictures with no flash and no sound. Should be perfect for your needs.
