Reasonable basic two-ways Got these for my kids - to stay in touch as they roam the neighborhood and to talk to each other around the house. They do the job well. They are easy to set up and use and the kids have no troubles operating them. The real range around houses is close to 1/2-3/4 mile. For the price, a reasonable basic two-way. 01/27/2009
great for kids I bought these for my kids for christmas to use around the house at park, etc. they work great for this. They like them cause they can understand what is being said not like cheap walkie talkies when i was a kid. They have clear reception reach advertised range. They went to spend the night at some friends house not to far away and they were calling me on mine a diff. brand and sounded good was neat they didn't have ask to use the phone. Have not use the rechargable batteries or charger yet just 3 AAA and their still strong. I wouldn't recommend for hunting but for stores, malls, parks less then 1 mile these are great. 01/04/2010

Motorola Talkabout FV300R Two-Way Radio This product is great for a communication device between a home and workshop on the same property. It audio is very clear. The only thing that I do not like about the product is that it does not turn off by itself after not being used after a period of time. But overall, good product for the cost. 04/28/2010
