These cables are not 100% copper as stated in the description. ALL Motor Trend jumper cables models that end in "-CCA" have copper clad aluminum cable wires. What the mfg. is touting as 100% copper are the jaws that come in contact with the battery terminals. The clamps are steel as they are magnetic, so it is only the jaws attached to the steel clamps that are 100% copper. Some manufacturers use copper coated steel jaws so I guess the mfg. thinks this is an advantage, but if you ask me, they are attempting to deceive buyers into thinking the wire is 100% copper. I rated 2-stars because they come with a limited lifetime warranty of some sort.
