Rated 4 out of 5★ by svojon Overall I like this berrel. When I got it it needed to be cleaned badly, but no damage was done. I shot sabots the first day and I had a hard time getting the scope dialed in. I later found the scope mount screws were loos and the scope was moving on the berrel. After titening the screws, it is now acurate. At fity yards I have been putting two sabots through the same hole. The initual condition is why i was not totally satisfied. 03/16/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by HunterInWI replacement barrel I purchased this replacement barrel with a scope combo. Honestly, I'd prefer to buy it without the scope which I am replaced with a better one, but it was a good product exactly as expected and looked upon (I needed rifled scope-ready barrel for Mossberg 535) and this is exactly what I got.I was able to hit dead center at 25 ft with a sabot from a third shot and a 9pt at 100 ft from 4th (which is good enough by my books, I did not want to burn more sabots than necessary). As far as Bushnell scope itself, it's an OK scope, a staple of scopes and it is good enough for most applications of your shotgun. So, don't follow my suit and don't necessarily throw this scope away for a better one. But at the same time, I felt it might have not sufficient eye relief. But then again, try first and see for yourself and if you like it, keep it or if you don't just replace with a better one. 12/01/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by XTremeHunter Great Buy I bought the Mossberg 535ATS w/ The Feild barrel about a month ago. When I found this barrel/scope combo I immediately decided to buy it as it would be better for deer hunting. The barrel is factory bore sighted so it was only a couple inches off. After I sighted it in the gun shot accurately and reliably. The scope is great and is adjustable from 3x - 9x. I just got it in a couple of weeks ago just in time for a couple weeks af gun season. I shot my first deer with it a couple days ago at 50 yards and the bullet landed exactly where I pulled my trigger. This is an excellent price for a great product that any serious hunter must add to there exception Mossberg(Which mine was also purchased at Wal-Mart) 11/30/2009
Rated 5 out of 5★ by Adam5265 Looked everywhere and bought this one. I bought this as a new and fun tool to use in the Georgia deer hunting season. The fit was perfect but the finish was just ok, The blueing is thin and you can tell it will wear faster than desired. That being said if you clean your guns and keep them oiled it should never be a problem. The saboted slugs that you must use with this barrel are very expensive around $20 for five shots. and they go up from there. The scope looks to be ok quality but it is not bore sighted, When I shot mine at first I was 24" off at 50 yards. I almost missed the whole big piece of cardbord I had set up. This thing makes your gun kick like a mule, I am not a small guy and I was almost overwhelmed shooting 3" slugs out of it I would hate to try 3.5", So I steped down to 2.75" Hornady SST sabot slugs and it tones it down to about the recoil of a 300 winmag. Hope this helps. 01/05/2010
Rated 1 out of 5★ by biggmehntr all scratched up When i got the barrel and scope set up it was all scratched up from the packaging. I have guns that i have hunted with for yeahrs that are in better shape. I took it out in the woods the first day and it started to rain, by the end of the day little rust spots started where the blue was worn off. When in went to sight it in it shot about 2 feet left and 3 feet low at 50 yds. at $3 per bullet i was not happy sighting it in, 11/19/2010
