Monopoly is back! I'm a huge fan of Monopoly so this game was a must have for my collection. I bought the PS2 version and I love having the updated "World Edition" in electronic gaming format. I would've given it 5 stars, but I have 2 minor complaints. It's kinda slow moving, compared to Monopoly Party and their are fewer options for the rules. For example, you can't turn off "Auctions." For every turn that a player lands on an unowned property, the only two options are Buy or Auction. So you have to sit through the auction for about 10 seconds, thus making it slower. Also, the default action after each turn is "Account" so you always have to move over ot the "Next Turn" button to let the next player go (or "Roll Again" if you rolled doubles) - and for whatever reason their is a lag time of a couple of seconds before you can move to Next Turn. We kept going into "Account" in error multiple times because of the delay. We didn't check out the Minigames or the new Richest Player games. We did unlock 2 of the additional boards (Future and Sweet) after one round and played on the Future board - but didn't get enough passport stamps to unlock additional boards. You may be able to unlock additional options with cheat codes but I haven't checked that out yet. You do get a code on the back of booklet to obtain cheat codes at the EA Games website. All in all, I enjoy the game and would recommend it to Monopoly fans or other people who enjoy board game style games. Just be patient with it until you get the controller quirks figured out. 10/26/2008

No cheating now but kind of lame I think that if you ever wanted to play this game without cheaters this is the way. But the game becomes boring quick. 06/07/2009
