Mongoose Snarl 26" Men's All-Terrain Bike 13 14
Decent Bike I finally tracked one of these bikes down in a store so I could see it before buying one. The WalMart store in Camillus, NY wants three hundred bucks minus a penny for one. Online, they are much cheaper. Bike feels solid, around 30-32 lbs or so. The front shock could be much better, but it does have an adjustable preload. No, the bike is not top of the line. It's on the low end of middle of the road. It has mechanical disc brakes which are nice, provided you clean the cables every now and then. The components are a bit on the lower end, but for $199.00 plus tax and free shipping, I'm not complaining. This bike is replacing the old bike that I have now, which is heavy, worn, and well used. I usually bike on asphalt trails with wife and dogs, and do occasional dirt and rock trail riding. I do my own bike maintenance and plan on upgrading components on this one as I wear them out. In all, this is a pretty good deal for the bike. I think I'll be happy with this purchase. It's due to arrive by July 28th. I will post more when I get some good ride time on it. 07/22/2011

dont bother I bought this bike for a starter to see if my knees could handle biking and after 400 miles, its ready for the trash bin. So far, my rear tire has gone almost bald, the seat came loose in the middle of a ride, the front wheel is out of true, has spokes that are broken, and the crankarm fell off twice. Its a very loud bike that is just not worth the money. I ride it only on the road and paved paths and after a month and a half, Im wishing I had spent the money on a quality bike. 08/24/2011
low quality mongoose I received this bicycle and found that for it to function properly, it needed to be adjusted, and yes it came with instructions to do so, but for the price, i could have purchased it from a dealer that would all ready have done this. the seat is also very uncomfortable and there is much noise from the drive train. I would say this product is in between the high end mongoose products and the lower priced but simpler brands... kinda a no mans land where the value isnt there, but the price suggests its much better than it really is. 05/06/2011
