You can power it by usb into your tv or if you don't have one you can plug it in. It comes with everything you need.

Yes you can use the converter box, and since you live in the city you might actually not need an antenna this powerful. You could try the mohu leaf 30 if you would like. But i live right at 50 miles away and i get up to 44 channels with the mohu leaf 50!

I recieved about 24 viewable channels and I live in a city. From what I can tell if you use a converter box you can only use one or the other not both simultaneously. My channels on the tv did not work when my converter box was on. You can go to the channel assigned to view the converters channels ie: ch3

Our antenna will work with any digital converter box. As far as how many channels you'll receive I'd suggest that you google "TV signal scan" and locate a site that will allow you to enter in your address and get an idea of the stations transmitting in your area.

Weather can affect over the air transmission similar to satellite reception. Reception can sometimes fade in and out and you may experience pixilation but mostly during severe weather. It's all about the signals getting disrupted as they are traveling from the towers to your antenna.

I haven&#39;t experienced and great signal loss from wind and rain in the time I&#39;ve owned it. I don&#39;t know what it (the signal) will do when we get torrential rain and thunderstorms. We live in Florida so it&#39;s only a matter of time before I find out.

They recommend behind the TV but I mounted ours to a window and we picked up a lot more channels and better reception. I had to add 4 more feet of cable to make it reach. According to the website you can add up to 25 feet of cable without severe loss of signal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our outdoor roof antenna with this antenna and pick up 26 stations compared to 12.  We are in a rural area 30 - 65 miles from TV stations.  We did purchase a 25ft RG6 high quality coaxial cable to be able to reach an outside wall near a window.  Easy to install.  Great option over an outside antenna.
