Never tried it... The online advertisement didn't mention there is a monthly fee to be able to use the web feature. Boo to not mentioning that. So, I returned it and will probably just use a web cam hooked up to a computer so grandma and grandpa can chat with their new grandson. 08/25/2010
ok BUT... I purchased this for two reasons, 1) to record our son, and 2) to view him, while I am at work, while my wife is at home with him... I learned that the receiver/monitor must be plugged into the computer in order for this to happen.... but doesn't my wife need to monitor him while she is working around the house.... so the monitor cannot be 2 places at once. My question that I asked Mobi, was can I get another kit, ( since we LOVE the actual Mobi cam and monitor), and they stated that these are made to sync to only one monitor for security purposes.... I think they need to make a system when you can sync to two or three monitors and just make a sync button (like internet routers sometime have) that would prohibit others from locking into the signal. Anyway, a bit disappointing because half of what I wanted it for, won't work! Otherwise, video quality for recording is OK at best... 04/05/2010
What a piece of junk If you value your time and money, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I am pretty tech savvy and this is product has the most ridiculous set-up imaginable. And don't even get me started on the payment plan! I wish I had listened to the other reviews and not gotten the internet hookup. FYI - the actual MobiCam is wonderful - its clear, loud, and has excellent night vision. Its the internet part that stinks. Too bad I cant give in 0 starts or I would. 10/22/2010
