Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the quality that is advertised... I ordered the Miracle Blade III set from the manufacturer. Because I ordered through the infomercial ad, I got a double set. I've had the set for about 18 months now. All the knives have rust spots on them (you can see in the pictures I have provided) which tells me they are not the quality steel that is advertised and both sets of shears are broken. The advertisement said the shears were ideal for gardening and since I could not find my clippers, I tried to use a set to shorten some rose stems. On the first stem the handle of the shears snapped in two. You can hold them and tell they are poorly made. They remind me of childhood safety scissors. A few days ago I used my second set of shears to cut open a pill packet and the handle broke (picture provided) in the exact same place as the other pair. The farberware set of shears I bought for 3 dollars on the clearance aisle is 100 times higher quality. I will say though that purchasing the blades through Wal-Mart is a bonus because otherwise you will feel as though you are seriously scammed on the shipping and handling... If you order straight from the company, shipping costs are more than they charge for the blades. 05/22/2009

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product We recieved this for a wedding gift. We are very impressed with how sharp these knives are. This set has a good selection of different knives. The cutting board that comes with it is also a carving board on the other side. Buy this you will love it. 09/06/2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Second Set This is my second set of Miracle Blades. I ordered the second set even though the first is sharp and "good as new" except for one. We were hit by hurricane Irene in August 2011 and one of the few small things broken was one of knifes, tree hit it just right (on the kitchen counter!) to snap it. When I went to replace that knife, I saw the option to double my knives and include the knife block. With 3 adult cooks in the house, it just made sense to have two sets of strong, well balanced and sharp knives. We will continue to use them for along time... Especially when we have a full kitchen back up and running! Just a note, not a negative! My first set was my first "real" knives and they are sharp! Suffered a few minor cuts until I figured out, the knives are sharp enough to do the job. It's so much easier to use sharp knives than fight your way through cutting with dull knives! Get a feel for them and you will be happy. 12/05/2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Quality I bought this set for my husband. They cut Great, but after a few hand washes they rusted from the inside out. I didn't leave them in water either. When they were used I immediately hand washed and dried these because they were so sharp. There was no way I wanted to accidently find one in the sink or ruin them. Rated 1 out of 5 by expected more got less nothing like they portray a little over a month and i do use them so i don't feel a waste of money but for me the only good knifes are the bread and pairing knife the others i cant find a good use for and they are sharp but not enough to cut frozen goods with ease as says and this is my main reason to save time and not get dirty so i can handle my baby as soon as i can it barely cuts my raw meats but they are sharp just not durable .the price is great just wish i could return them. 01/23/2008

I have bought a miracle blade set before, but I wanted the block to put my knives in, so I upgraded and bought this set and gave my old knives to my family. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great for the $$$ Used these blades before. First time offering my opinion. The price is worth it for three blades in the set. The original blade, which is a multi purpose blade that works equally well as a general purpose slicer and bread knife, the rock-n-chop, and the chop-n-scoop. These three alone are worth the price of the full set. The actual slicer blade is a great general purpose slicer for frozen foods, onions, tomatoes and frozen foods, and bread. The rock-n-chop is the best chopping knife I have ever used. Handles feel a bit cheep, but the over all quality is the best you can get for the money. The chop-n-scoop is great for cillantro or parsly. The cutting board and block are an extra value. Over all, you get more than you money's worth. 02/11/2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not as advertised on TV Recently my Wife purchased this product as we had heard good reviews about it. I was disappointed to see the build quality of this product not meet my expectations. The Handles for these knives are low grade plastic and they seem very flimsy at times. A good knife should have an appt thickness for the blade as well as a good handle, ex wood, steel or atleast good quality plastic. Not sure if we'll retain the set, probably might return it back to the store. 12/09/2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good value, not as durable as I'd hoped Got these knives instead of ordering an expensive set, so I saved a ton of money. Unfortunately, they are not dishwasher safe, so you have to hand wash them. They certainly are sharp, though! 11/15/2009

They were ok at first but they do need sharpening which is why I bought them so I didn't have to do this. After going to my mother-in-laws house and using her Henkel which cut like butter I was even more upset I wasted $60 on these. 07/17/2009

Rated 5 out of 5 by Seems great! I haven't owned them very long but they are perfect for us. No rusting like some people said. They just slice through everything and the scissors are just as good! I wish that the cutting board was more durable because the knives carve right into it though.... but overall a great set for very affordable price! :) 10/26/2012

When brand new they are extra sharp and you have to be careful until you use them a bit. Since the knives and scissors are in the wood block on the counter we don't have to search through drawers for them and we use them constantly. 10/11/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great set of kitchen knives I have been using the Miracle Blade knife sets since I first saw them at the county fair several years ago. I am on my 3rd set now. The first set got dull after about 3 years, and I believe it was about the same for the second set. I use them for everything. Last night we used two of the knives cutting cucumbers, peppers, and onions into slices for pickles. They are still very sharp for being about 4 years old. Not as sharp as when new, but sharp enough to easily get the job done. I have bought, and sent several sets as gifts, and will continue doing so. I feel that they are at least as good as sets costing 2 or 3 times as much. 09/20/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by best knives you'll ever own! I have owned the original Miracle Blade knife set for approx. 15 yrs. now. I have bought these on tv for alot more. I bought my set at What's in Now @ IA. City Mall for 40.00 w/o the knife block. I had to buy the knife block seprate for 29.99. They are just as sharp now as they were when I bought them! I love these I have single handedly bought my husbands parents and sister and about 3 good friends, and we bought my husbands daughter a set for their wedding gift, and they all wouldn't part with them. My fav. is the rock n chop,and while his dad likes the chop n scoop. They truely are the only knives you will ever need. My husbands nephew had me order him and his wife a set because he heard so much about them just from family alone. He picked the chop n scoop as his fav. 09/17/2012

These knives are a great price, with great quality. They are super sharp and sturdy. I can now cut food in just seconds, saving me lots of time and energy. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Knives My wife and I bought a set of these knives almost ten years ago and gave them to her mother when we moved to another state four years ago....that set still has its original edge! While trying to figure out a gift idea for my wife recently, I remembered those knives and found the newer version of them online at Walmart. I was pleased with the price of the set, which included a knife block, and the quick delivery. These are such sharp knives and have a good feel in the hand, at least for us. I would have preferred a stained knife block, but that's my personal taste. I am a little apprehensive when purchasing online with products that I cannot personally examine in a store first, but since I had a set prior to this purchase, I knew what to expect. These are very good knives at an excellent price. You will be able to enjoy this set of knives for as long as you want them around. Seriously, I can't believe our original set hasn't needed sharpening yet. 05/23/2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Love Love Miracle Blades These are the best knives out there. They are cheap but high quality. You can put them in the dishwasher or hand wash. They are so sharp its amazing. It is worth the investment and its not a very big investment. So why not?! I love these knives and will only buy Miracle Blades! 11/11/2010
