Very fun game. It has been a challenge to get good at it, but I can finally control the ball and complete the maze almost everytime. I would definitely recommend it.

This game is entertaining. You can only move the ball up and down though and you need to move the wheel with your hand to go around the course. It is a different kind of game and I would rather have my son play with this than watching tv. It teaches patience! I am hoping it won't get boring though with only moving the ball up and down. It is 79.99 and that would have bought a lot of bakugans.

My 9 year old daughter received this toy for her birthday. (Nov 2010) She's wanted it since last Christmas, we finally purchased it because of Walmart's low price. She is able to move the ball with her mind and loves that she is better at it, than her Dad.. haha! I'd say it definitely meets her expectations. I'm sure the novelty will wear off quickly, but that's expected with most toys these days.

My daughter really wanted this game (as it looked so cool on the commercials) It is actually a "fun" game. It has NOTHING to do with mind control (of course) I have not figured out what the head set is even for, but the strategy to the game is still fun. You can be timed to get your ball around the course and play against your friends. The balls moves around the course by a flow of air and there is a knob you turn to move your ball so you can keep it above the air flow, that is what makes your ball float. (NOT your mind) The objects you add to the course "interfere" with the air flow which in turns causes your ball to move higher or lower. And it takes a bit of practiced skill to move the knob just right to make your ball do what you want. BUT even though it isn't "truly" a mind controlled game its fun. I have had lots of fun playing with my daughter. The head set (in my opinion) is just a waste AND it hurts your head and ears. It fits way too tight. But I suppose without the headset you wouldn't be able to call the game a "mind controlled" game. All in all it is fun for the 8-12 age group. But kind of pricey for what it REALLY does. I do not however regret the purchase.

    • A. I don't know how, but yes, it seems to. You raise/lower the ball with your brain activity. You then have to manually move the "fan" to move the ball around the circle. We enjoy playing it with our 9-year old.

    • A. Yes, this game works as advertised. There is a small fan used to levitate the ball then by concentrating on the ball, your mind moves the ball up and down and around the game.

    • A. It worked for us. The more you concentrate the higher it goes. But you need to learn to distract yourself in order to go to the lower levels of the obsticles.

    • A. Absolutely. I've seen a ton of youtube videos. The thing is, the concentration doesn't have to be on the ball or the game at all. It could be as easy as trying to find out the plot to a movie. It's more sophisticated than anything I've seen in Wii, so I'd say the advertising doesn't do this product justice. There totally needs to be more footage of people that know how to use the product.

    • A. It should. I haven't tried it but I know that there are programs that use this type of technology to get kids with ADD/ADHD to focus. When a person focuses the brain waves can be measured and a signal can be sent to the console based on the level of activity. While I am not saying buy it, I will say that the technology exists and it seems to have been put to use for this game.

Why is the person in the picture depicted wearing a helmet? Is this game potentially harmful? I don't need any balls flying around my house if that is an issue with this game.

    • A. The headgear isn't a helmet. It is worn by the person controlling the ball.

    • A. NO NOT AT ALL!! VERY LIGHT BALL COULD NOT HURT ANY ONE OR THING! THE HELMET IS WHAT YOU WAER TO USE YOUR MIND TO MOVE THE BALL. MY 11 YEAR OLD SON LOVES IT. SO NO IT WILL NOT HURT YOU AT ALL.

    • A. You wear a headset and that is what sends your brainwaves to the device. The balls are soft and lightweight.

    • A. It's not a helmet. It's the headset that connects your brain waves to the machine/ball.
