Very useful item. My husband purchased this radio set so he and I could keep in contact when we are out of shopping and get separated. They are light wgt.and easy to carry. Range is far superior then our old pair. Very pleased with this purchase. 09/05/2011
good for kids not hunting I bought these because it stated it had a 20 mile radius. I drove 3/4 of a mile down the road with one and my husband had to stand outside with one. We could not hear each other after 3/4 mile down the road. Its a straight shot driving down the road. We are very diappointed in them. We have a hill right next to our home. My husband went hunting in the valley on the other side. He tried to get ahold of me while i was in the house with the radio on. After 2 hours i went outside with it and tried to get ahold of him. He stated he was trying to get ahold of me and i didnt hear him. When i went outside to talk to him it was very scratchy and broken up. I would not recommend these for hunting or any kind of distance. The kids can play with them in the yard and thats it. 11/11/2011
