    It is perpect to sports and action game of PC. I had just Windows 7 laptop, no Xbox360, and I tested it on my laptop with Street Fighter 3, Pro evolution Soccer 2010(Winning Eleven) and GRID. It operated perpectly without setup because it supports plug&play. Also it vibrated well when I played Street Fighter 3. If only it was cheaper.

    I bought this for my pc and it works flawlessly. Just download a small driver from Microsoft, plug it in, and enjoy. Force feedback and analog sticks all work like they should with no further calibration.

    • The box should have the microsoft seal of approval on it, and the controller should have a ghost Microsoft sticker on it as well. If these two iteams appear on it the it's legit.

    Does this controller vibrate like the wireless one?

    I wanted to get the wired controller because I sit pretty close to my Xbox 360 and I was wondering if this wired one vibrates.

    • Indeed it does. I would recommend getting a wired controller as opposed to a wireless one because you don't need to spend money on batteries and it will work as a controller on your PC as well.

    • The original Xbox controller has a different button set up, and the Xbox itself does not have a USB slot. So any controller that is sold as Xbox 360 will not work for a Xbox but only the Xbox 360

    • The XBox 360 uses USB connections for its console. The original XBox controllers have a different connection. So NO, the new XBox 360 controllers are NOT backwards compatible to work on the original XBox (unless there's an adapter I don't know of). Most original Xbox games can be played on the 360. I highly recommend you own an XBox 360 console. The wired 360 controllers also work on PCs.

    • No you can only use this controller with the xbox 360. The xbox does not have the USB ports. Not up to date enough sorry. Hope this helps!
