Works Great Remember folks this is an empty box other than a new License Key. You MUST have Windows 7 Home Premium already installed on your computer for this upgrade (which must be downloaded) to install. The reasons I bought here instead of online: a little cheaper, and I wanted an Official Windows Key Sticker. If you buy online from Microsoft you only get an email. Works the same for now, but if ever I have to re-install, I wanted an official looking key, not some lost email. 12/21/2009
Professional best value Upgrading from Windows 7 Home Edition to Windows 7 Professional has probably the best cost/benefit ratio. Upgrading to Windows 7 Ultimate only gives you 3 more features and they are not commonly used. 08/01/2010

Needed Windows Update Given the gross user dissatisfaction with Vista, the Windows 7 update is long overdue. While it lacks a few, in my opinion, niceties such as the ability to do a direct upgrade from XP and the ability to virtualize within the software should the CPU lack virtualization capabilities, it is still an excellent and necessary piece of software. Additionally, the need to use Windows Live could have been avoided if non-Windows Live downloadable components were available. 11/26/2009
