Junk Do not waste your money on these fantom drives. After spending time partitioning and loading up almost 1TB of data, it failed within a week. The case is built like a rock, but the drive is garbage. It started clicking inside and would not read. Opening the enclosure to inspect the drive voids the warranty. So back it went. After this happened to me, I started spending time doing research on external drives. This brand has a lot of returns, and you can find a lot of refurbished ones for sale. Kind of tells you something about the quality. I also found so many bad reviews by consumers on all of their models, not just this one. It was a huge waste of time, and my shipping costs were not reimbursed. (I bought this at comp usa . com . They get you on shipping over there.) I was just lucky that I only moved video and music files and not personal stuff to the drive AND that it happened right away. These drives have a reputation for failing within a month to a year. That hurts more because you are invested then and a refund doesn't make it better after you lose all your data. It's too bad other higher quality drives don't come with such a great enclosure. I will be buying my next drive from Walmart because of their great shipping and return policies. 06/10/2011
