zipper broke when putting cover on mattress 08/30/2011
Overall Good Value I live in New York City where everyone is in a panic over bed bugs. While my current home is fine, I'm moving and dread the risk. Overall, this product is really great as far as value goes since other bed protectors cost more than double.Pro Features: seems to be working well. Was extra roomy, so a full-sized cover had plenty of room left over after my over-stuffed full-sized mattress went in. Also, rather easy to put on, instructions were clear and I did it by myself without much hassle.Con Features: sometimes I'm aware that I'm sleeping on plastic. The mattress heats up faster, also, the mattress feels slick now so my sheets slide around and when I first sit down on it, the sheets parachute out with the air moving.Overall, on my tight budget, the cons are far outweighed by the price. I have to say that I didnt even get to use this product because as soon as I took it out of the bag and unzipped it, the zipper fell apart. Unbelievable. Needless to say, I returned the product and the broken zipper also. 08/26/2011
Zipper broke as we were trying to use it! This was exactly what I wanted for our son's college dorm room. Not sure about the condition of the mattresses on campus, this product sounded perfect. We were two hours from home, trying to get him set up in his room. As soon as we tried to zipper this cover, the zipper broke. I wasn't about to leave him with no cover on a used mattress (!!), so we had to try to tuck it around the end and hope it will protect at least somewhat. I am very unhappy with this product. 08/26/2011
