Rated 5 out of 5 by Shazaam718 "Michael Vey-Prisoner in Cell 25" By Richard Evans
My favorite pick up the summer is "Michael Vey-The prisoner in Cell 25." This book is intended for young adults. That being considered I've also tried an audience of people over 20 years. This book is a captivating, page turner. Mr. Evans once again mesmerizes us with his writing expertise. This book is already on the Bestseller's List this summer. I am on the "Team Vey". It has been a privilege and blessing to be included in the introdction of this series in the Ohio area. I am making a Unit to use with my Special Education Reading class in the fall. Michael Vey has Tourette's syndrome. He overcomes his syndrome to become an intelligent, popular student at his Idaho High School. You will enjoy the experience-share it with others !
Rated 5 out of 5 by ARCREADER Great Read for YA, yet I enjoyed it too!
I urge everyone with young adults to check this book out!!!
It is captivating! Action packed and full of human emotions. Young people are going to love it! The characters are real and there is a character for everyone to identify with! Its fast pace will keep you on the edge of your seats! Well done Mr. Evans! My granddaughter states it is the best book she has ever read! I wholeheartedly agree with her! Don't miss out on this adventure!
Rated 5 out of 5 by loki01 Great book for both teens & adults
I couldn't put the book down after the 2nd chapter, it reminded me so much of my time in high school that I couldn't wait to find out what happened next.
The suspense held the whole way through the book, and after I got to the end I found myself waiting very impatiently for the next one to come out.
I've read a lot of books but none have ever got my interest so fast, and kept it through the entire book.

I just finished reading Michael Very, The Prisoner of cell 25 and it is an excellent book and I highly recommend it and it is a deal at Walmart online store...
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovemyolds Really good book for teenagers
I bought this book for my 14 year old granddaughter. I always read the books first before letting her read them. This book was entertaining and well written. She has already finished this book and we are both looking forward to book # 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Woodgey Great for the 10 to 15 year old reader
It's not Harry Potter or Twilight but it is a good read. I am glad to have it in my house for my kids to read. I can't wait for the others to come out so I can buy them too.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gr8St8ofWA SPECTACULAR!
This is a very enjoyable book for the entire family. It really does live up to the hype. My 9yr old son couldn't put it down and will probably have us waiting in line when the next one is released.
Rated 5 out of 5 by PhillyEaglesPhan FANTASTIC FANTASTIC FANTASTIC
This book lives up to the hype. Read the book in 1 week, and I am not a big reader. Now me and my 11 year old son are reading it together. Michael Vey is todays youth's hero. Everyone needs to read this book. First in the series, and now can't wait for book two.
Rated 5 out of 5 by 2clownscom Great read for older kids, tweens, teens & adults!
Hi - our family loved it. We read it aloud as a family (6 yrs to 14 yrs for kids) and they were all engrossed in the book. They loved the characters, laughed at the jokes and enjoyed the suspense.
Enjoyed that it is about doing the right thing and making difficult decisions. Something we could read as a family and discuss, but not be embarrassed by any sexuality or vulgar language. We even picked up a homeschool curriculum for it. Looking forward to the series!!!
Rated 5 out of 5 by SuperCoolGM Could be the next popular kids series.
I bought 2 for my grandchildren. I always read them first. This one I could not put down and actually stayed up all night to finish. Can't wait for book 2! It was an exciting well written adventure book that teaches lessons in good vs evil, honesty, loyalty and the value of all people that will help raise a child's self esteem. It was a bit of the X-Men-Harry Potter-39 Clues theme with it's own unique twist. I believe it will be as popular.
I'm buying one for the School Library.
Rated 5 out of 5 by UtahPianoMan An Electrifying Read for YA and Adults Too!
What an amazing book! I was entirely enthralled with Michael Vey: The prisoner of Cell 25. This is Richard Paul Evan’s first endeavor into the young adult (YA) genre; and I must say he excelled in his mission. This book is very well written and appropriate for young readers, something which boys will find electrifying. However, don’t let that deter your adventure, anyone can experience and enjoy Michael Vey. Truly, a must read!
Rated 5 out of 5 by lostspot Waiting for the next book.
If Glen Beck is involved its got to be good. The only news source worth watching GBTV.
Rated 5 out of 5 by 5eagles great book for young and old

Rated 4 out of 5 by romancelover Really enjoyed it!
I am not usually a sci-fi reader but started reading it and it didn't take long before I was hooked.
Rated 3 out of 5 by JerryJet OK book but not as good as I expected.
Seems to be the reading level of a young adult, junior high. For me it didn't have the gripping story line or writing ability of a Harry Potter novel.
Rated 5 out of 5 by DudeinNC Great for sixth grade boys!
Purchased this for our 12 year old sixth grader and it was read within one week! He could not put it down. He has shared it with a couple of friends and they also loved it. We just purchased the second book in the series and he was checking the mail box for it to arrive.
Rated 5 out of 5 by aambumann Awesome
Do not know what else to say. Awesome. Great quality time activity, reading it together with the children.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Midnight2Read Easy read. Will purchase next book when released
Storyline keeps you going until the end. Needless to say, this will be a continuing series.
Rated 5 out of 5 by James168 Awesome book!!
Wow, what an awesome book!! I just started reading it and COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. The characters are real; you come to know them and feel for them. At times I was at the edge of my seat not knowing what might come next. The battle between good and evil, ethical questions, acceptance of differences, the strength of friendship, the feelings associated with, and the effects of bullying, peer pressure......it's all in here!!! A fabulous read! Waiting for the next book in the series! I have already bought several books to share with friends and family.
The ONLY thing I don't like is having to wait until next August 2012 for the next book!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ienjoyreading Wonderful book for teens and up
This book was wonderful. It had action and a star who actually had values. It was easy to read and I was able to get my 13 year old son interested in it, and he can't wait for the next installment, as well as my husband and sister.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Loqie "Michael Vey" is an exciting thriller that not only can appeal to young adults but their parents as well. It's fast, funny and strange. Once Michael's electrical powers are revealed, the shocks keep coming chapter after chapter.
Michael Vey is an average, ordinary teenager except for the fact that he is electric. When Michael and his friends discover that there are other kids with similar powers they also learn that someone is hunting them.
After Michael's mother is kidnapped, Michael relies on his wits, his unique power, and his friends to combat the hunters, free his mother, and save the others.
You won't be able to put it down!
Rated 5 out of 5 by ItsMyNickname I bought the book for my grandson. After thumbing through some pages I began reading the book and throughly enjoyed it. A kids book with action, but no vampires and teaches some values. I hope my grandson likes it as much as I did because he is getting the next book when it is released so I can read it too.
