The packaging was excellent because the glass came in perfect shape. Instructions were beyond easy. I bough the three tables: console, coffee and end table and built all three in less than an hour with my mom. The table is definitely an espresso color which is a very dark brown so I see why people would say it is black. We have a dark brown leather couch so we wanted something that would break the dark look and this was the perfect table for our family room. Get this table! You won't regret it! 12/16/2012
