yes it is more of a black color than a bronze but goes perfect with brown or black furniture.. it is a great buy for the price and quality!

Despite what others have said I can guarantee you that the table is an espresso color, which is a deep and rich brown, so dark it almost seems black. .  I even compared the finish to an item I know to be true black and this table is not black.  If you don&#39;t need to match black items in the room this won&#39;t be an issue.  If you do, then you can easily spray paint the table a true black.

Everything you need is in the box. I anticipated using my electric screwdriver. No need. It comes with screws and an allen wrench. You turn the screws in. A combination of the allen wrench, leverage, and a small amount of pressure gets those screws secured.

I watched my husband assemble this product and he didn't need any additional tools. The table comes with an "l shaped tool" called an allen wrench. We had 2 extra bolts/ pieces left over. It arrives with everything you need. Looking at the box he assumed it would take a while but it was quick and easy.

I have had this table for 4 months now and I love it!!! The color is definitely black though.. No complaints because all my end tables, bookcases and tv stand are black. The shelf is awesome for putting magazines or coloring books on. Cleans up easy and is surprisingly sturdy. We have a small living room and the table works well because it does not take up too much space.

For the price this is the best coffee table! It is very classy and simple and quite heavy. Definitely black in color. Very sturdy and took 20 minutes to put together. I was thankful it was very simple to assemble, because the only instructions I received were in spanish.
