I even wore them while swimming on the waters at Cape Cod as it can get rocky there . As a diabetic I take care of my feet and don't worry about cutting my feet on rocks luers or glass at the boat launches . Great sandal must be if they where out of stock when I went back online to buy another pair . 08/27/2012
