Good quality, Great Price

I went to the local DME store and this same bench was twice as much. I thought I would check out, and they had it. It featured $.97 shipping, so came right to the door. I purchased this for my elderly mother and it has been very helpful. It was easy to assemble and I like the multiple height adjustment. I got it set up so it is easy for mom to get in/out of the shower. It fits a standard tub and the walk in shower.

I recently had bunion surgery on one foot and can't get it wet for 2 weeks. I purchased this chair so that I could sit in the shower and keep my bandaged foot hanging out of the tub. This chair is sturdy, doesn't slip, feels safe, and it's light weight. It's easy to lift up and out of the way. I'm having surgery on my other foot in a couple of weeks so I'll be using this often. I researched several different chairs at different sites and this one had the best price and best reviews. I'm VERY pleased with it!

What a relief

I'm very happy to now be able to sit, if needed, while I use my handheld shower. With several health problems, this makes bathing so much easier. The gray seat is nice since it will not show soil and get stained. Of course, it is not a thing of beauty, but it sure is practical, for a young at heart old lady, like me. It's very sturdy and easy to assemble. I highly recommend.

  • I have an older tub and had problems getting this bath chair to fit into my tub due to the fact that the legs have HUGE rubber caps on them. The rubber caps made it hard to push the chair down as it rubbed against the bathtub walls, and the bottom of bathtub walls all curve in to allow proper drainage, so my chair does not exactly go down to the tub floor due to the rubber tips. I measured from outside of one rubber foot cap to another and the distance is the front is 20 7/12 inches, and the distance between the other set of legs is 21 7/12 inches. There is an INCH difference between front/back legs, which I can't figure out why. The only conclusions I have come up with is that the leg "tubing" is bent further apart on one set, or the rubber caps are larger on different legs, or the pre-drilled holes that you screw the seat into were not properly measured making one set of legs appear to be wider than the other. If you don't have a "plastic" tub where you would have to "push" to get this chair down, and my measurements will fit your tub, then I'd recommend this chair. It's cheap yet sturdy. The seat part that you sit on is a hair less than 20 inches wide. I found that by putting the chair towards the back of the tub, then sort of forcing it forward closer to the front of the tub, that I am in the correct position when seated to be able to grab the hand held part of my shower.
