    Do not buy This product arrive with a broken latch. While waiting for a replacement, the crate was used a few times. The size of the crate is intended for a medium sized dog. If you have an active puppy, or adult dog, the crate will not withstand any type of push against it. Several times it appeared that the doors were going to be dislodged just by the dog turning around. The idea and design of the crate is good, but the materials used make it practically worthless unless your dog is comatose. Do not buy, especially if you are intedning this to housetrain your puppy. It will not keep your dog in it, and then you will have to clean up the broken crate and the dog mess. This product has been returned. 06/09/2010
    Quality Not an Issue I researched several different types of crates & read hundreds of reviews prior to purchasing this product. The majority of the reviews posted almost scared me off, but I had to see for myself. I really liked the idea of the side (garage style) door & thought I had to give this product a shot. I purchased this crate for my 3 month old beagle & have been using it for almost a month now. Beagles are notorious escape artists, but I have had no issues w/ my dog escaping from this crate. She sleeps in it every night & is also crated when we leave the house to run errands. Product went together very easily and is of good quality. I would recommend this to anyone that is crate training. She loves the big side door & so do I... I don't have to climb into the crate from the small end doors to retrieve toys, blankets, etc. Great product! 09/09/2010
    Great for dog shows I have tried EVERY cage on the market for dog shows. My dogs came up lame in wire dog cages (because of the bumpy bottom), overheated in the canvas and plastic ones. Dug their way out of the canvas ones, rolled over in the canvas ones.Petgear cages are PERFECT for TRAINED dogs or dogs used to being caged.NOT a training cage or for escape artists or pups or rowdy dogs at all (although my one tried to escape and didn't)I did have a couple plastic latches break, I wrote the company and gotten replacement no problems. I do use the bungee cord with ball hook for "extra" security for the rear wall, where the flimsy hooks are. I love the Solid bottom with raised edge (keep them dry) and a bath mat really gives my dogs comfort. Wire sides provides plenty of venilation too. Garage door is so nice to fix mat or cushion. I bought 4 last year and I'm buying 4 more this year !!! I wish Walmart carried the colors !! 08/08/2010
    Don't buy it My 7 year old yellow lab was out of this thing before I got to the car. After bungie cording it back together - she went out the whole side door. Junk. 06/23/2010
