My 2 favorite features on this item are how easy it is to convert from game to game in seconds and how good I was/am at it right off the bat! Happy Board Game Playing!

Just bought this table to entertain the kids for all the holiday parties we're hosting. It's not the biggest and really is for kids 7 and under but so far it's been a good way to get my kids off the computer.

    • It's a slide hockey and no batteries required. If you are looking for air hockey, you could refer to our website http://www.themdsports.com for more options.

    • No Power...Neither the batteries nor the electricity... that's why the striker would not go smooth...It is hard.

    • No power to the hockey side. It's a slide only version with a plastic puck and felt based hockey handles.

    • It is not air hockey, but slide hockey, which is just pushing a disk around. There is nothing that requires batteries or electricity. I purchased separate game table that was only air hockey from Walmart as a gift.
      by Gramhup11/23/2014

    • It is not run on any power (other than human). It is slide hockey, not air. Works fairly well though.

    • Yes, glide hockey is different because it does not have air lifting the puck. The puck glides on the playing surface on it's own.
      by Rdea11/23/2014

    • VERY different. Air allows the puck to easily move on the table with less resistance.
      by Brad71111/23/2014

    • Glide means that the puck just slides, there are no air holes or air to provide a cushion for the puck on this model.
      by Dalog11/23/2014
Was this answer helpful? (1) (0)
    • No air you just slide the puck
      by ProudDad1111/23/2014

    • Glide hockey doesn't have air lifting the puck off the table bed. Glide hockey is simply a plastic puck being hit across the slick surface of the hockey field.
      by Fatshep11/23/2014
Was this answer helpful? (1) (0)
    • Yes there is a difference. Glide hockey is just a table that you use the puck pusher to slide it along the top of the table. There is no air involved. Although I also purchased an air hockey table from WalMart as a gift, won't know details until after Christmas on that one!
      by Gramhup12/3/2012

    • Yes. This table does not plug in or use air. The puck does slide easily over the slick top. It works fairly well.
      by Logannamama12/2/2012

    • Yes, "glide" hockey is just as it states, glides along the top, "air" hockey uses air forced via motor from the underside of the unit. This unit has no motor or air, but rather glides along the smooth surface.

    • There is no air pushing the puck from underneath so that it glides smoother and faster.

    • Not very easily. 2 adults would be best; or 1 strong man with an even stronger back...

    • The base is the pool table. The other two are part of a second assembly that attaches to the top of the pool table with latches. You have to unlatch it and flip it over to change from the slide hockey to Foosball, and take the assembly off and find a place to store it to play pool.

    • The top flips so you can play either hockey or fuzz ball and just remove the top to play pool

    • The top section of the table has table football on one side and underneath is the slide hockey. This section sits on top of the pool table. Four clips hold the top section in place, when pool is your choice, you simply lift off the top section and set aside. This lifting is easy with two people but can be done by one adult if needed.

    • Buckles hold the table together. The bottom table is pool. The top section is foosball on one side and slide hockey on the other.

    • The foos ball (one side) & slide hockey (other side) portion clips onto the pool table (on leg base). It easily switches from one game to another by unclipping and flipping over or removing (for pool).
      by Logannamama12/2/2012

    • The bottom base is the pool table, the upper part which comes apart has the hockey game on one side, flip it over for soccer. The top is secured via four latches (which you have to install).

    • The Billard board is the Base so that is what is sitting on the legs and the other 2 games you build a lightweight top base that can be flipped over to play either of the 2 games.
